Panic! At The Disco; A fever you can't sweat out
Released on Sept 27, 2005

I first heard this album right when it came out. I had just started the 8th grade and my best friend Kendra was obsessed with this band. We loved watching Fuse TV and there was this battle of the bands-type show that came on after Pants-off Dance-off(I can't find the name of this show anywhere, but I assure you it existed) and on this show P!ATD, Hellogoodbye, and another unknown band made it to the finals. When P!ATD won, we celebrated together and it became the soundtrack of my late middleschool->into early highschool adolescence.

This album was an entirely new sound at the time. Their use of bigger vocabulary juxtaposed with the immaturity and curse words, the range of Brenden's voice, and their sometimes theatrical-rock sound stood out in a sea of one dimensional emo. This to me, felt like "Freddy Mercury meets experimental Emo." * Seen in concert: 2008 with Fall Out Boy and Blink-182 * Favorite song: Build God, Then We'll Talk. (how I love the violin at 2:56)

Favorite song: Northern Downpour "I missed your skin when you were east. You clicked your heels and wished for me. Through playful lips made of yarn, that fragile Capricorn unraveled words like moths upon old scarves. I know the world's a broken bone but melt your headaches, call it home. Hey Moon, please forget to fall down. Hey Moon, don't you go down."
